About DiPaolo Law
DiPaolo Law is a referral-driven law firm located in the Scripps Ranch Business Park in San Diego, California. The firm's beginnings date back to 1998.
Whether you've been threatened with a lawsuit, someone breached an agreement with you, your'e having a payment dispute with a customer, you have a small business and are considering incorporating, or perhaps you or your parents have been putting off preparing an estate plan for too long, it is best to have a lawyer to assist and advise you. DiPaolo Law can help.
At DiPaolo Law, we offer a wide variety of legal services. We adopt a practical approach to solving our clients' problems. Moreover, we take pride in providing each of our clients personalized service. Many new clients come to us with complaints that they were dissatisfied with the level of service and personal attention they received from other, larger firms. All too often they initially meet with a partner or senior associate, only to have their case handed off to less-experienced staff members to whom primary responsibility for the handling of the case has been delegated.
At DiPaolo Law you won't be passed around. From the outset you will meet with Tom DiPaolo, one of the founding attorneys in our firm, and your legal matter will be handled by him exclusively from beginning to end. We recognize that most of our clients come to us having never dealt first-hand with the sort of legal problem or concern that brought them to DiPaolo Law in the first place. Many have a great deal of anxiety about what to do. We make it a priority to take time to discuss and explain things to our clients throughout the process. Unless a client has a thorough understanding of the process and choices to be made, that client cannot fully and knowingly make intelligent decisions about the matter.

Why select DiPaolo Law as your legal counsel?
Let's face it. You would rather avoid attorneys if you could. We get that a lot . . .
But chances are at some point you will need an attorney. So, how do you go about selecting one?
One good indicator of whether an attorney is effective and reputable is to determine the source of that attorney's clients. When seeking out legal counsel, we recommned asking a trusted friend or family member if they have used the services of an attorney that they would recommend. That is how each of our clients came to us. 100% of our clients were referred to us. We have never advertised in telephone directories or other media, nor sent out mass mailings to obtain clients as some law firms do. The only marketing DiPaolo Law does is "word-of-mouth." Considering the importance of your legal needs, why would you rely on a telephone directory advertisement to find a good attorney?
We believe those attorneys who seek to lure clients with advertisements or mail solicitations probably aren't worthy of their own clients' recommendations. We suspect you came to this website because someone you know is already a client of ours and recommended us to you.
If so, we hope you will trust in their good judgement. We pledge to provide you quality legal services and do our best to earn your respect in the hope that one day you, too, will refer someone you know to us.

Firm History
In 1998, the firm’s founder, Tom DiPaolo, decided to test his entrepreneurial skills and open a law office. Coincidentally, a former colleague of his was also interested in returning to private practice after several years away from the field to raise her family. The two formed DiPaolo & Hamilton, LLP.
They started out with no clients, but quickly grew their practice by being attentive to their clients’ needs, and adopting a pragmatic approach to resolving their clients’ legal problems.
Despite the success of their collaborative endeavor, Ms. Hamilton decided to leave private practice in 2003 to pursue other career opportunities. Mr. DiPaolo has continued to operate the firm as a solo practitioner ever since.

"I never say things like this if I do not mean them. But I must tell you, I have met with many, many lawyers in settings where I am trying to find a lawyer for a particular client’s case, and you are one of the very best lawyers I have observed. You have many fine qualities, and I can list them for you when I have more time. But this is just to say that I continue to be impressed with your knowledge of the law and your command of the meeting and your demeanor and your approach."
